I had hoped to post more images of our trip to the UK by now but I injured my shoulder on the way home (please remember not to carry a heavy carry-on backpack on one shoulder) and it just slowed everything.

After I started to be able to manage small movements it was high time to be back in the studio. I'm now about 1/2 way through the making the work thats going to Belfast, Maine for next month's opening of Quench - Provisions for the Savvy.

If you're in Maine August 15 you might catch me as I hope to be delivering my work in person and hanging around for the grand-opening!

I need some space

If we had stayed in the north I'm sure I would not be ready to go home today. But to me a city feels like too much stuff packed into such a small space but somehow separated by a lot of travel. London's density works against you. I'm sure there is some sort of law of physics involved.  I mapped a location in London the other day and the tube was going to take us the same amount of time it would to walk. We needed some space.

We rented a car and drove out to Avebury. Its was an amazingly gorgeous day until the heaven's opened up and poured but we were tucking in at the pub by then.

One week to go

Its hard to believe we have one week left in the UK. Sad. is what it is. There is so much to see. I recommend a year or more if you can afford it. Which we can't.

And with that I'll say that my Etsy shop is back up and running. All in stock items will ship July 9.
